Aparna and Gita both spend their
first pregnancy together and become best of friend. Aparna talks to Gita of her inner
feelings and how she misses her husbands love at the most trying moment.
Vikrams wife Jaya is aloof.
She has got into the racket of kitty parties, jewellery and mingles with wealthy women.
She tries to ape sophistication and copies style. She often makes a fool of herself.
Aparna likes Jaya and allows her
to continuously change the decor of the house. Although Aparna never looses her affection
for Jaya. Jaya invariably feels threatened by Aparna. Mainly because her husband Vikram
has great regard for Aparna and now with Purshottams affair with Gayatri, he has
also started sympathising with Aparna.
Now Purshottam and Vikram have
great life styles and Mummyji lives with them, Bhenji is still married to Satish still
labours in the same dairy that Papaji used to work in.
Purshottam gives Bhenji
everything, Bunglow, car, all expenses paid for, But Bhenji is not happy. She hates the
idea of being a dutiful Bahu in her house so she manipulates her own nursery.
She is well aware of Purshottams weaknesses and his temper and knows how to ignite
his anger. She keeps on filling his ears with stories about how her in-laws are
mistreating her. At one instance Purshottam bashes up Satish. Another instance he walks
into Bhenjis house with hired Goondas and threatens the whole family.
The third time he brings Bhenji to their own house. Alongwith her comes Satish and Bhenji
comes and settles down in the house happily.
She creates chaos in the house
but keeps Purshottam buttered up, with the result that Purshottam refuses to believe
anything said to him against Bhenji.
Papaji and Mummyji move to
Hardwar and Purshottam organise a house for them there. It was their dream to send their
old age in Hardwar.
